Abu-Ghazaleh Welcomes the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Jordan to Discuss Cooperation in Training

HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), received the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Jordan, HE Mr. Abdul Latif M. Lafeer, to discuss potential ways of cooperation in the field of Education and Training.
During
the meeting, business opportunities were discussed and in building an
initial framework for cooperative work between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
Training (TAG-Training) and the British College of Applied Studies (BCAS Campus),
where both parties will provide training in Quantity Surveying for
different skill levels, all inclusive in a program entitled, “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Quantity Surveying Program”.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh indicated,
“Acquiring accredited Quantity Surveying certificates is seriously
needed in Jordan, and TAG-Org will aim to facilitate the process of
acquiring this certificate for engineers by exploring options with
Jordan Engineers Association, and incorporate online learning for
executive level certificates”.
HE Mr. Lafeer said,
“The government of Sri Lanka is keen to develop economic and cultural
relations in Jordan and is willing to facilitate this process in
collaboration with TAG-Org, including exchange of expertise in many
business and professional fields”.
TAG-Training will conduct an
extensive study in the initial phase of cooperation to address local
expert capacities in Quantity Surveying in order to provide adequate and
applicable specialized training.
