    Amman March 2 ( Petra ) -- Vice Chairman of China Foreign Trade Centre Ren Xiangdong, said that Jordan enjoys a strategic location in the region and has bilateral and multilateral trade agreements which enables it to access new regional and international markets .
    Xiangdong told Petra that the Jordanian market stands on the threshold of a new economic stage and has promising opportunities in the region, adding that the visit comes to promote cooperation between Chinese and Jordanian companies .
    Xiangdong also said that Jordan is a gateway for global trade and an attractive destination for commercial and service industry investment, , pointing to the importance of exchanging visits to promote bilateral trade.
    He reiterated that the visit is an opportunity to strengthen ties and increase cooperation between businessmen from both countries to enable them to exploit the opportunity to establish commercial and economic partnership between the two sides.
    Xiangdong said that the China Foreign Trade Centre signed cooperation agreement with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Group to promote Chinese-Jordanian trade exchange in Canton Fair.
    Trade balance between Jordan and China is strongly in favor of China, with an estimated bilateral trade standing at $1.8 billion.
