• Under the patronage of Minister of Culture ‘Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center’ and Petra Development & Tourism Region Authority Sign Cooperation Agreement

    AMMAN –Under the patronage of Minister of Culture, HE Mr. Ali Al-Ayed, a cooperation agreement was signed between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center (TAG-KC) with Petra Development & Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA), to provide TAG.Global’s capacity-building services to the Petra region community. 

    The agreement was signed by PDTRA Commissioner of Local and Environment Development, Dr. Maram Freihat, and TAG-Knowledge Center Executive Director, Mr. Zaid Al Majali, at Petra Cultural Center’s premises. 

    The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of Petra Cultural Center, where a branch of TAG-KC was established to provide services to the Petra region community as well. The Cultural Center was fully equipped by Tag-Global, with TAGITOP devices for training and local community development purposes. 

    Dr. Freihat indicated the Center’s gratitude for its partnership with TAG.Global, expressing her thanks to HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, on his constant contributions to serving the local community, civil society institutions and associations in all governorates and camps throughout the Kingdom for community capacity building. 

    For his part, Al Majali stressed the importance of the city of Petra as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, characterized by its history and nature, pointing out that this cooperation aims to serve the largest segment of the local community by sharpening and improving their professional skills to enable them to compete in the labor market.

    It is worth mentioning that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center (TAG-KC) is one of the initiatives adopted by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global). It targets Arab youth with the aim of enabling them to develop their capacities by providing modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools. The initiative also seeks to qualify and enrich a large number of professionals with an extensive experience offered by TAG.Global experts to help them meet the challenges of the labor market, armed with the best professional qualifications.
