‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ and Al-Zaytooneh University Sign Cooperation Agreement

Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station at Al-Zaytooneh University:
AMMAN - His Excellency Dr. Abdullah
Ensour, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Zaytooneh University of Jordan
(ZUJ) has inaugurated the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station in the Civil and
Infrastructure Engineering Laboratories Construction building at the
University’s campus, in the presence of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and
chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), and Prof. Mohammad
Al-Majali, ZUJ president.
The inauguration came on the sideline of
the 18th edition of the Scientific Annual International Conference for the
Faculty of Business; held under the theme ‘Sustainability and Cutting-Edge
Business Technologies (SICB). The Conference was organized under the auspices
of Dr. Ensour, where Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh,
who was invited as a keynote speaker, addressed the issue of the Artificial
Intelligence Revolution.
During the Conference, a cooperation
agreement between was signed between the University and TAG.Global, represented
by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center (TAG-KC) and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital
Training Platform (TAG.Global Digital Training). The agreement was signed by
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and Dr. Al-Majali.
The scope of the agreement aims to enhance
cooperation among the three parties (the University, TAG-KC, and TAG-Academy)
in organizing and holding training courses in various programs that TAG.Global provides.
Such courses will take place at the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station at the
University, or online through TAG-Academy.
The agreement also acknowledged the Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills (TAG-DIT) certificate and its
exam as a substitute for the Computer Science 101 Program for the University's
12,000 students.
On this occasion, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
expressed his pride in the ongoing cooperation with Al-Zaytooneh University;which is one of the Jordanian universities that firmly strives to keep pace
with the global digital and technological development, pointing out that such
cooperation exemplifies TAG.Global’s core mission in the domains of
capacity-building, development, and the provision of state-of-the-art
technological devices and tools, to enable as many students as possible to
obtain the professional qualifications the labor market needs.
For his part, Dr. Al-Majali stated that
the University has been committed to become an integral part of Jordan’s
national cultural project’s components emphasizing that the University, since
its establishment, has been achieving significant milestones and continues to
provide the country with highly motivated and determined young individuals,
thanks to the guidance and support of its Board of Trustees and its Board of
Directors who work as one team.
