• Suggest Subject : TAGCRC and JEI sign agreement to develop the educational process in governmental schools

    The Jordan Education Initiative (JEI), one of HM Queen Rania's non-profit organizations signed an agreement with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) to develop the educational process in governmental schools through e-education.
    According to the agreement which was signed by JEI's CEO Mr. Haif Bannayan and TAG-Org's Mustafa Nasser Dein, Amman executive director, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Computer Refurbishment (TAGCRC), member of TAG-Org will provide 100 computers to JEI to be used in schools in the Kingdom.
    Mr. Nasser Dein said:"We are really happy to cooperate with JEI in developing education in schools in the Kingdom. TAGCRC has embarked on a mission to supply 10,000 schools with 50.000 computers that will benefit 33 million students by 2012. We thank JEI for giving us the opportunity to be part on this effort."
    Meanwhile, Mr. Bannayan highlighted the role of TAG-Org in developing human resources saying:" The Jordan Education Initiative is dedicated to developing the educational process in governmental schools through e-education. The JEI is the source for establishing multi-purpose rooms with the latest technology in the classroom to contribute to the learning environment."
    TAGCRC has already finalized TAG Computer Refurbishment Center at Jerash Camp which increases adoption of technology and enhancing the computer literacy for all refugee camps and underprivileged villages the north Jordan.
